U-PICK FLOWERS
U-Pick Tulips
After we closed the farm in the fall of 2024, we planted 45,000 tulip bulbs of 20+ different varieties to share with everyone this spring. We are looking forward to some warmer spring days filled with bright colored tulips to share with you all!

In our area, tulip season generally runs sometime from mid-April into May. Unfortunately, Mother Nature will be the one to make the final call on when the field will be ready for picking and how many weeks we will be open for! Keep checking our social media pages for weekly field updates leading up to and throughout tulip season.

U-Pick Sunflowers
In the summer of 2024, Riverside Farms opened up as a u-pick sunflower farm. We planted 30,000 sunflower seeds and welcomed people to our farm in September and October.

For the 2025 sunflower season, we hope to have u-pick sunflowers starting in the beginning of August through the end of September. We plan to have a similar size field to what we planted in 2024 with the traditional yellow sunflowers as well as our specialty colors of red, plum, and were also adding a white variety this year!

U-Pick Cut Flowers
To expand on our summer picking season, we plan to plant 2,500 various annual cut flowers. Some of the varieties we will be planting include:

U-Pick Pumpkins
In 2024, we got a bit of a late start on our pumpkins. After experiencing some first year difficulties with the sunflower planter, we decided to scale back the field a few rows and plant some pumpkins as well. We got some good looking specialty pumpkins last season, but the carving pumpkins finally turned completely orange after our season was over.

We are taking our lessons learned from last season and plan to attempt u-pick pumpkins one more time! We hope to have all of our specialty and carving pumpkins ready to pick at the end of the sunflower season in September.

Pet Policy​
We love pets however, unless you have a service animal, please keep your pets at home.
No Smoking​
Please no smoking on the property. This incudes e-cigarettes. Thank you for understanding.
Restrooms
At this time, we do not have any restrooms available for customer use.
Children Under 12​
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Children 9 and under are free admission.
Parking​
Parking is entirely off road in the field. Please be mindful to our neighbors and park all cars along the stonewall.
Wear Comfortable Shoes​
Wear comfortable walking shoes you're not afraid to get a little dirty since it can get muddy especially after it rains.
Photographers​
We welcome all photographers to come and take pictures but, everyone must purchase a ticket whether picking or not.
